Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia came in second, third, and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, German imports of shellfish are expected to grow at a rate of 1.3% annually, reaching $390 million in 2026. This is a 3.4% increase from 2000. In 2021, Germany was the sixth largest importer of shellfish, at $356 million. The Netherlands had the highest imports, at $357 million. Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom came in second, third, and fourth respectively.
