Swedish shellfish exports are set to reach around $47 million by 2026, up from $40 million in 2021. On average, exports have grown by 2.5% year on year since 2000. In 2021, Sweden was ranked 23rd, with Malaysia leading the way at $40 million. Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia came in second, third and fourth in the ranking respectively. Meanwhile, imports are set to reach $226 million by 2026, up from $205 million in 2021. Year on year, imports have increased by 1.4% since 2000. Australia was number one in 2021, with Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom taking second, third and fourth place respectively.
