Lithuania surpassed Greece, ranking 38th in 2021, at $1.0 million. Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia were the top three countries in the ranking. Greek shellfish imports are estimated to reach $5.3 million by 2026, from $7.5 million in 2021. This is a 6.3% decrease on a yearly basis. Since 2000, the demand for imports has risen 0.1% year-on-year. In 2021, Israel was ranked 32nd, at $7.5 million. Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom occupied the top three spots in the ranking.
