Exports of Dutch shellfish are estimated to hit nearly $500 million by 2026, up 1.6% from 2021's $446 million, according to figures from 2000. Indonesia recorded the highest exports of $446 million in 2021, followed by Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia. Imports of Dutch shellfish are expected to reach $410 million by 2026, up 1.9% from 2021's $360 million. The United Kingdom was the top importer with $360 million in 2021, followed by Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom.
