Imports of wax into Seselwa fell by 11.5% in 2021, compared to 2020. This is according to the latest figures, which put the import figure at 1,790 kilograms. This is significantly lower than the 2,020 kilograms of wax imported in 2020. Since 2000, Seselwa has seen a 2.8% year-on-year increase in wax demand. This placed the country at number 121 in the global rankings. Montenegro surpassed Seselwa, with 1,790 kilograms of wax imported in 2021. Mexico, Germany and Poland came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively in the rankings.
