The global wax market value is forecast to reach $484 million by 2026, up 0.6% year on year, following a 2.7% jump at the start of the period. China, Japan and Germany respectively came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 in the ranking. Italian wax exports dropped 13.4% in 2021, to 3.7 million kilograms, down 19% compared to 1999. India overtook Italy to take 17th place in the ranking, while Malaysia, Germany and South Africa respectively came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4. Italian wax imports are expected to reach 28.9 million kilograms by 2026, up 1.1% year on year. The Netherlands overtook Italy in 2021, placing 6th in the ranking, with Mexico, Germany and Poland respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4.
