Since 1997, the country's demand has fallen by an average of 1.6 percent each year. In 2021, Bolivia was ranked 38th in the world for wax imports, with 3.3 million kilograms. Slovenia overtook them with 3.3 million kilograms that same year. Mexico, Germany and Poland came in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
