Indian wax exports are set to grow by 0.6% in the next five years, reaching 8.4 million kilograms by 2026. This marks an increase of 62.1% since 1993. In 2021, India came in 16th place in terms of exports, with 8.1 million kilograms. Spain overtook India, with 8.1 million kilograms, while Malaysia, Germany and South Africa ranked second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Indian wax imports jumped 11.5% in 2018, reaching 13.1 million kilograms, compared to 11.8 million kilograms in 2017. Since 2011, demand has fallen by 19.2%. In 2018, India ranked 12th in imports, with Spain overtaking India at 13.1 million kilograms. Mexico, Germany and Poland ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
