Swedish pasta exports are predicted to increase by almost $26 million by 2026. This is a 0.9% year-on-year growth from 2021, with the country ranking 43rd in the world for pasta exports. South Africa overtook Sweden this year with exports of $24.3 million. China, South Korea and Thailand were the top three countries ranked in this list. Import of pasta into Sweden is projected to reach $169 million in 2026, a 1.8% year-on-year growth from $151 million in 2021. Since 1997, demand for Swedish pasta imports has grown by 5.1% year-on-year. In 2021, Austria overtook Sweden as the top importer at $151 million. Germany, France and the United Kingdom were the next three countries in the ranking.
