Colombian citrus production is on the rise. The country is projected to reach 1.7 million metric tons by 2026, an increase of 3.6% from the 1.5 million metric tons of 2021. In 2021, Colombia was the eighteenth-largest producer of citrus, with Algeria overtaking it at 1.5 million metric tons. Brazil, India, and Mexico followed as the second, third, and fourth largest producers, respectively.
