Citrus production in the Maldives is on the rise. It is expected to hit nearly 50 metric tons by 2026. This is up 2% each year on average since 2009. The country ranked 136th in 2021 with 44 metric tons. Wallis and Futuna was ahead with the same amount. Brazil, India and Mexico came in at 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
