Citrus production in Jordan is expected to reach 111,550 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, 112,370 metric tons of citrus fruit were produced, a decrease of just 0.1% since 1966. This made Jordan the 59th largest producer in the world, with Ivory Coast overtaking them at 112,370 metric tons. Brazil, India and Mexico ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
