In 2021, the country was ranked 94th in the world, with 13,560 metric tons. Benin overtook Montenegro in the same year. Brazil, India, and Mexico were the top three citrus-producing countries in 2021, respectively. Since 2011, Montenegrin citrus supply has grown by an average of 2.1% year on year.
