Overweight prevalence in Grenada is set to rise over the next five years. Currently, 54 percent of adults in the country are overweight. This figure is predicted to climb to 56.4 percent in 2026. Since 1980, Grenada's overweight prevalence has risen by an average of 0.7 percent each year. In 2021, it was ranked 106th in the world, overtaken by Turkmenistan, which had a prevalence of 54 percent. The Marshall Islands, Tuvalu and Kiribati came in second, third and fourth respectively.
