Overweight prevalence in Cambodia is on the rise. In 2021, 25.6 percent of the adult population was overweight, up from 23.7 percent in 2021. On average, the rate of increase has been 1.2 points per year since 1980. Cambodia currently ranks 176th in terms of overweight prevalence. Nigeria overtook it in 2021 with 23.7 percent of its adult population being overweight. The Marshall Islands, Tuvalu and Kiribati rank 2nd, 3rd and 4th in this ranking, respectively.
