This is an increase of 0.4 points from the current rate of 61.2 percent. Since 1980, the prevalence of overweight adults in Belarus has grown an average of 0.6 points each year. In 2021, the country ranked 54th in the world for overweight prevalence, with Panama ranking ahead of them with 61.2 percent of their adult population classified as overweight. The Marshall Islands, Tuvalu and Kiribati took the top three spots. By 2026, Belarus is expected to remain 54th on the list.
