Eritrean sorghum production is set to reach 150,000 metric tons by 2026, according to a recent report. This marks an increase of 0.6% year-on-year growth since 1998. In 2021, Eritrea was ranked 32nd in sorghum production, with 142,850 metric tons. Myanmar took the top spot with the same amount of production, followed by Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Mexico.
