Ecuador's sorghum production is on the rise. By 2026, it is projected to reach 16,000 metric tons, an increase of 1.2% year-on-year since 1981. At present, the country ranks 65th in the world in terms of production. Honduras is ahead of Ecuador, producing 14,880 metric tons in 2021. Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Mexico are ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively.
