Dominican sorghum production dropped drastically in 2021, reaching 138 metric tons - a 63.8% decrease from 2020's 380.95 metric tons. Since 1966, supply has decreased by over a third, year on year. The Dominican Republic slipped to 97th place in the 2021 rankings, overtaken by the Philippines with 138 metric tons. Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Mexico ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
