Greece is set to see an increase in sorghum production over the next five years. In 2021, the country produced 8,250 metric tons of the grain, placing it at number 68 on a global ranking. This is set to grow to 11,210 metric tons by 2026, with an average year-on-year growth rate of 5.2%. Since 1966, Greek sorghum production has grown by 77.1% year-on-year. Zambia placed ahead of Greece in the 2021 rankings with 8,250 metric tons, while Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Mexico were second, third, and fourth respectively.
