Bulgarian sorghum production is set to reach almost 35,000 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, it totaled 28,570 metric tons, growing around 3% annually since 1966. That placed Bulgaria at number 60 in the world, with the Central African Republic surpassing it that year. Nigeria, Ethiopia and Mexico were the world's top three producers of the crop, respectively ranking 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
