Hungary is set for an increase in sorghum production over the next five years. In 2021, the country ranked 37th in global output, with 117,300 metric tons. This figure is set to rise to 158,100 metric tons by 2026, a growth of 5% year on year on average. Since 1966, Hungary's supply of sorghum has risen by almost 50%. Paraguay currently sits at the top of the global rankings, producing 117,300 metric tons in 2021. Nigeria, Ethiopia and Mexico take the next three spots.
