Consumption of sorghum in Saudi Arabia is forecast to drop 2.2% annually to reach almost 100,000 metric tons by 2026. Since 2017, demand has decreased by 0.6% each year. In 2021, the country was ranked 21st for sorghum consumption, just behind Senegal with 114,000 metric tons. India, China, and Ethiopia were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Production of sorghum in Saudi Arabia is expected to decline 3.1% annually to reach 96,800 metric tons by 2026. Since 1966, supply has dropped 5.2% each year. In 2021, the country was 38th for sorghum production, slightly behind Somalia with 116,410 metric tons. Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Mexico were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
