Fijian sorghum production is expected to reach 20.5 metric tons by 2026. This is a decrease of 1.9% per year since 2021, when the country produced 23 metric tons. Since 1966, Fijian production has declined by an average of 1.7% per year. In 2021, Fiji was ranked 104th in the world for sorghum production, with Tajikistan overtaking it to become the 103rd largest producer. Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Mexico came in second, third and fourth, respectively.
