In 2020, 18.2 million kilograms of pastries were consumed, but this figure is expected to grow to 19.4 million kilograms by 2026 - an increase of 1% year-on-year. Demand for pastries has seen a 1.6% year-on-year increase, with the United Kingdom, Italy and Spain taking the top three spots in the rankings.
