Colombia is set to become the world's 51st largest producer of pulses by 2026. According to the latest figures, production is expected to reach 233,790 metric tons, up from 228,760 metric tons in 2021. This growth is an average of 0.5% year on year since 1966, with a total increase of 5.3%. Egypt currently holds the top spot, followed by Myanmar, Canada and China.
