Armenia's production of pulses is projected to decline to approximately 2,600 metric tons by 2028, down from around 3,200 metric tons in 2023. This represents an average annual decrease of 3.1%. Since 1997, the nation's pulse supply has seen a gradual decline, averaging a 0.7% decrease each year. In 2023, Armenia ranked 136th globally in pulse production. Botswana surpassed Armenia, also producing about 3,200 metric tons. Leading the global rankings in pulse production were Myanmar, Canada, and China, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
