Since 1966, however, Jordan's supply has seen a significant decline, decreasing by an average of 4.2% each year. In 2023, Jordan ranked 126th globally in pulses production, with Uruguay surpassing it at the same level of 6,300 metric tons. Notably, Myanmar, Canada, and China held the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively, in global pulses production rankings.
