Since 1966, Cyprus has experienced an average annual decline of 12% in its pulse supply. This downturn has seen the country fall to 153rd place in global rankings for pulse production in 2023. Grenada narrowly surpassed Cyprus, also producing around 280 metric tons. Globally, Myanmar, Canada, and China continue to dominate the pulse production landscape, holding the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
