Leading the rankings were India, Japan, and Russia, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions respectively. On the export front, Austrian alcoholic drink exports are set to grow, reaching nearly $4 billion by 2028, up from around $3.5 billion in 2023. This represents a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2%. Since 1999, Austria's supply of alcoholic beverages has seen a consistent year-on-year growth of 2.2%.
