Zimbabwe is forecast to consume 10 thousand metric tons of tea this year, only slightly down from 9.9 thousand metric tons in 2026. Since 2017, demand for tea in the country has been steady. This year, Zimbabwe will come in 43rd in the world rankings, with the Netherlands taking the lead at 10 thousand metric tons. India, Brazil and Argentina come in second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Zimbabwean tea production is expected to reach 26.3 thousand metric tons by 2026, up slightly from 26 thousand metric tons in 2021. Since 2017, supply of tea in the country has been consistent.
