India, Brazil and Argentina follow, ranking 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Production of tea in Japan is expected to grow slightly, from 85 thousand metric tons in 2021 to 86 thousand metric tons by 2026. Since 2017, the country's supply has decreased by 0.4% year-on-year.
