Malian tea consumption is on the rise. By 2026, it's projected to reach 12,000 metric tons, up from 11,000 in 2021. That's a growth rate of 1.2% year-on-year. Since 2017, demand for tea in the country has increased 3.2% year-on-year. In 2021, Malian consumption landed it at number 39 in the global ranking. It was overtaken by Azerbaijan, which consumed 11,000 metric tons. India, Brazil and Argentina were numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
