Vietnamese tea consumption is on track to reach 116,000 metric tons by 2026. This is an increase of 1.3% year-on-year, on average, since 2017. In 2021, the country placed 11th in the ranking, behind Paraguay which consumed 107,000 metric tons. India, Brazil, and Argentina occupied the second, third, and fourth spots respectively. Production of Vietnamese tea is also expected to surge to 292,000 metric tons by 2026. This is a growth of 1% year-on-year, on average, since 2017.
