Supply has been growing at an average of 1.3% year-on-year since 2017. Meanwhile, consumption is projected to reach 11,400 metric tons by 2026, a 0.5% year-on-year growth from 11,000 metric tons in 2021. Demand has been stable since 2017. Nepal came in 39th place in 2021, behind Mali at 11,000 metric tons. India, Brazil and Argentina placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.
