In 2022, Greece was ranked 14th globally in terms of road traffic volume. Malta was just ahead, also recording around 2.26 billion vehicle-kilometers. Leading the rankings were Japan, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, securing the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
