Egyptian fabric imports and exports are set to see significant growth by 2026. Imports are projected to hit $373 million, up from $297 million in 2021 – an average annual growth rate of 3.9%. This marks an increase of 13.2% since 1999. France took the lead in 2021 with imports of $297 million, with Indonesia, China and the United States following as numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Similarly, exports are anticipated to reach $55 million by 2026, up from $42 million in 2021 – an average annual growth rate of 4.4%. This is a 3.4% rise since 1999. Romania was the leader in 2021 at $42 million, followed by South Korea, Italy and Germany as numbers 2, 3 and 4.
