The Dutch fabric sector is set to grow significantly over the next 5 years. Exports are forecast to reach $223.6 million by 2026, while imports are projected to reach $258.6 million. This represents year-on-year growth rates of 2.4% and 2.8% respectively. In 2021, the Netherlands ranked 13th in terms of fabric exports, with El Salvador leading the way at $194.2 million. South Korea, Italy and Germany occupied the 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots. Meanwhile, the Netherlands was placed 26th in terms of fabric imports. Bulgaria topped the list at $218.4 million, followed by Indonesia, China and the United States. Since 1997, Dutch fabric supply has grown at an average rate of 5.7% year on year, while demand has grown by 6.6%.
