Ethiopia overtook the Philippines to become the 80th largest exporter in 2021. South Korea, Italy and Germany ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Fabric imports to the Philippines are projected to reach $291.6 million in 2026. This is an increase of 0.2% from 2021's $288.3 million. This marks a 0.9% decrease since 2001. Egypt overtook the Philippines to become the 17th largest importer in 2021. Indonesia, China and the United States ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
