In the global rankings for 2023, Mozambique secured the 20th position, with Sri Lanka just ahead at 11.84 million tonnes of oil equivalent. Leading the rankings were France, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom, holding the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
