This is in contrast to a 1% annual decline in supply since 1965. In 2023, the Netherlands was the eighth-largest supplier, just behind Kazakhstan. The top spots in energy supply were held by France, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom, ranked second, third, and fourth respectively.
