Since 2017, the supply of credit cards in China has been rising at an annual rate of 2.6%. In 2023, China held the second position globally in terms of the number of credit cards, trailing the United States, which also reported around 780 million units. Following China in this global ranking are Japan and Brazil, occupying the third and fourth spots, respectively.
