Jamaican cosmetics imports are forecast to reach $49 million by 2026, up from $46 million in 2021. This represents a modest annual increase of 1.1% since 1996. In 2021, Jamaica ranked 112th in the world, below Mongolia ($45.6 million) but ahead of China, Germany and the United Kingdom. Jamaican cosmetics exports, meanwhile, are expected to drop to $3.9 million by 2026, down from $4.4 million in 2021. This equates to an average annual decrease of 1.8%, since 1996. In 2021, Jamaica placed 98th in the world, behind Uruguay ($4.4 million) but ahead of the United States, Germany and Ireland.
