Since 1998, imports of cosmetics into Central Africa have increased 17.2% per year. In 2021, Central Africa was the 141st largest importer of cosmetics in the world. Nigeria overtook Central Africa, becoming the 140th largest importer with $1.3 million. China, Germany and the United Kingdom were the second, third and fourth largest importers respectively.
