The demand for Nigerian hair care has been declining since 2001, with a 20.7% decrease year-on-year. On the other hand, Nigerian hair care exports skyrocketed by 88.4% in 2018, up from $317,820 in 2017. Despite this, the supply of hair care products has been diminishing since 2007, with a 51.9% decrease year-on-year.
