Meanwhile, imports are projected to grow 1% year-over-year, reaching almost 11 million kilograms in 2026. Since 1996, demand for anthracite in Chile has increased by 18.4%. In 2021, Portugal was the largest importer of Chilean anthracite, followed by South Korea, Japan and Russia.
