Chilean anthracite exports are projected to reach 130,000 kilograms by 2026, a 3.2% increase from 2021’s 106,480 kilograms. Since 2010, exports have risen by nearly 18%. Meanwhile, imports are projected to grow 1% year-over-year, reaching almost 11 million kilograms in 2026. Since 1996, demand for anthracite in Chile has increased by 18.4%. In 2021, Portugal was the largest importer of Chilean anthracite, followed by South Korea, Japan and Russia.
