Germany's anthracite exports are predicted to hit 47.7 million kilograms by 2026, dropping by 8.9% per year on average from 81.4 million kilograms in 2021. This is a decrease of 9.4% since 2013. Imports of anthracite to Germany were down 15.1% to 373 million kilograms in 2021 from 439.4 million kilograms in 2020. This is a 10.5% drop from 1996. Malaysia overtook Germany in 2021 to become the biggest importer, while South Korea, Japan and Russia ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
