Since 1997, Peru's supply has grown 32.1% year-on-year. In 2018, Peru's anthracite imports reached 183,790 kilograms, a substantial increase from 87,880 kilograms in 2017. This represented a year-on-year jump of 109.1%. Since 2000, Peru's demand has grown 151.8% annually. In 2018, it ranked 80th, with Sri Lanka overtaking Peru to become the largest importer. South Korea, Japan and Russia, respectively, were ranked second, third and fourth.
