Cameroon's import of anthracite is expected to reach almost 36,000 kilograms by 2026. This marks an increase of 4.6 percent each year since 2021, when the figure stood at 27,370 kilograms. Since 2002, demand for the fuel has jumped by over 30 percent annually. In 2021, Cameroon ranked 93rd in terms of anthracite import. Angola overtook the country with 27,370 kilograms. South Korea, Japan and Russia followed in the rankings, ranked second, third, and fourth respectively.
