Namibia's supply of anthracite has grown 32.9% year-on-year since 2005. In 2017, 12,390 kilograms were imported from Namibia, representing a dramatic 412.6% increase from the 2,420 kilograms imported in 2016. Demand for anthracite has risen 67.9% since 2005. Botswana was the number one importer of anthracite in 2017, with 12,390 kilograms, followed by South Korea, Japan and Russia in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
